Screen resizing
If the display area is resized by changing a setting such as the font or model number, the main window is automatically resized. The resulting size is the minimum necessary to accommodate the new display area.
By contrast, if the main window is resized with the mouse by dragging the edge or corner of the window border, the opposite happens: the font size is adjusted to make the display area fit within the desired window size. Because the font proportions are fixed, the resulting fit may not be exact; in that case, the display area will "float" with extra top/bottom or side margins. If this is not desired, the Snap button on the menu bar can be used to change the window size to the minimum necessary for the current font.
