When you send a question about the x3270 family of emulators, please include the following information. It makes it much easier to narrow down the problem.

• The version of the emulator you are using. This is available in several ways:
  • Using the -v command-line option
  • Running the action Show(Version) at the x3270> prompt
  • From an interactive menu option:
    • In x3270, the option File -> About -> Copyright
    • In c3270 and wc3270, the option File -> About c3270
    • In wx3270, the About tab of the Actions dialog
• What operating system you are using, and what version. Finding this is operating-system specific, e.g.:
  • On Linux, type cat /etc/*-release in a terminal window
  • On Windows 10, press the Windows key, type winver and press Return

Complaints, suggestions, requests for enhancements, and porting experiences are also welcome. Code changes for bug fixes and enhancements are also welcome, provided that you don't mind your code being placed under the common x3270 license.
