How to build suite3270 (b3270, c3270, pr3287, s3270, tcl3270, x3270 and x3270if) on FreeBSD.

These instructions were last verified on FreeBSD 12.2.

Build process

• Install the required packages.

tcl3270 requires lang/tcl-wrapper.

x3270 cannot be built because the Xaw library does not exist for FreeBSD.

• Run ./configure -C LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/lib CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/local/include --disable-x3270.
• Run gmake. (Plain make is BSD make and will not work.)
