Capabilities() action

The Capabilities() action sets or queries the capabilities for the current session. (A session refers to one TCP or standard input connection to the s3270 protocol server.)

This action is intended for internal use only, by components like x3270if.


If no parameters are given, Capabilities() returns the current capabilities, one per line.

If one or more parameters are given, they set the named capabilities:

The session is interactive, e.g., the x3270> prompt.
The session supports password (non-echoed) input.
